The Board

Regina Chow McPhie, her husband, Neil McPhie and two children moved to Great Falls, Virginia from Richmond, VA. in 2002. Regina retired from a long career with the federal government in 2019. Her last employment as a Team Leader in the Office of Equal Rights at DHS/FEMA. She also held the collateral title as Disaster Manager with FEMA. She enjoyed working disasters and her last deployment was to Florida after Hurricane Irma. The McPhies love our lush green neighborhood, the beautiful / colorful creatures we see on a daily basis, and the friendly neighborhood of Great Falls. We raised our children here where they attended the Langley Pyramid Schools. Regina enjoys her daily walks with our adopted furbaby, Daisy. I am also an Usher at St. Mathews Episcopal Church in Sterling, VA.

Linda Koppier and her husband, Hans, became Foxvale Farms homeowners in 1992. In the years since, they've raised 3 children and provided a loving home to 4 rescue dogs. She served on the Foxvale Common Area Committee. Professionally, Linda was an information technology project manager. She enjoys needle arts, stenciling and making their gardens a haven for birds, butterflies and bees.

Erik Bowman has lived in the neighborhood since 2005 with his wife Dana and dog Winston (Winston came along in 2015). By day, he is a solution architect at Leidos serving customers from DoD to DHS and on the weekends, you can see him either running, biking, or working in his or other folks yards.

Larry Zmuda has lived with his family in Foxvale Farms for over 20 years. He and his wife Carol have lived all over the United States before settling in Great Falls. We chose to live here because of the quality of schools and the wonderful neighbors and neighborhood. In the 20+ years, Foxvale Farms has only gotten better. Carol and Larry have three children, John, Rachel, and Sam. John is married to Anna Zmuda and live in Charlottesville, VA. Rachel is a second-grade teacher in Fairfax County and Sam just graduated from Purdue University. Each of the kids attended Forestville, Cooper, and Langley. Carol substitute teaches at Forestville Elementary and Larry has been on the Great Falls basketball and baseball boards for many years. Larry was previously on the Foxvale Farms board and served as the treasurer. He is looking to rejoin the board to ensure that the Foxvale Farms families continue to enjoy the beautiful surroundings and families that his family has enjoyed.

Jordan is a transplant from Somerset, Pennsylvania. Sometimes he feels like he's in a Talking Heads song ("How did I get here?"). He's a father to 2 amazing girls, takes care of a pit bull (Penny), a rescue cat (The Dude), and by the grace of God married a great woman. He works in the internet technology space. He also enjoys tennis. He was re-elected to the board in 2023, so you're stuck with him for another 3 years.

Laszlo, his wife Tammy, and their two boys (Laszlo III and Landon) moved to Foxvale Farm in 2019. They started as renters and decided to stay! Their journey to settle here in VA was quite complex and entailed escaping communism, battle hoards of rabid moose and geese through the winter battlelands of Toronto, Canada to settle first in NJ... then a quick detour to the UK, and blamo landed here. They enjoy this community, the people, and events and want to help keep it that way. Soccer is their family sport and they like watching Liverpool. Their boys play in GFR Soccer Club on travel teams. Laszlo graduated from multiple Universities (not that matters) and works as a Project Manager nearby. He has also had past experience serving on HOAs and is now lending a hand here.

Brian is originally from Ohio and lives in Foxvale Farm with his wife, Ann, and two sons, Joe and Henry. Professionally, Brian is a sales enablement leader at a technology company.

Josh, his wife Kristina, and their two children moved to Foxvale Farm in 2020, at the start of Josh’s last tour in the Navy. Having moved all over the country during their Navy service, they are looking forward to putting down roots and living in Foxvale Farm for many years to come. Josh and his family love nature, Oklahoma and Navy football, playing board games, sitting around the campfire, and playing with their dog Mush Morton.

Dolly Whelan and her husband, David, were one of the first owners in Foxvale Farm. They and their two children, Jennifer and Chris, moved into their home on McMillen Ct in November, 1978. Dolly worked as an administrator for Fairfax County Public Schools, Adult and Community Education, for 30+ years until she retired to take care of her first grandchild. She currently is the Assistant Director of the King's Kids Preschool at Christ the King Lutheran Church in Great Falls.
